2. Live remote show my mind was wandering, I loved that wonderful distraction, kiligers. It's not even a distraction, it's an uncontrollable impulse my mind constantly does. Uuuuy.

1. Obb- Opening Billboard- This is what you see, (like a music video) whenever a show starts.
2. Every year we have a summer OBB shoot. This runs the entire summer season, for two months.
3. Over-all rating of the resort on a scale of 1-10 being 10 the highest- 8 Not bad because the weather in Laguna is nice, as opposed to last year's location
4. This year's absentees: Eagle & Drew- May sakit daw
5. During the shoot, my mind still kept wandering, I so loved that wonderful uncontrollable impulse my mind constantly does. Uuuuy.

Summer Tiangge Shopping

Shelly had been through hell with this pre-production. Normally, our event requirements would be okay and ready to be mounted for the next day by 4pm the day before live. But this time it wasn't the case.
Artista related events aren't reliable. I said so because artistas schedules are crazy, which is why our supposed event didn't worked out so Shelly had to look for a back-up story.
She discovered an amazing Pinoy chef who used to work for a royal family in the middle east, and as soon as it was given a nod by the boss, she went to cavite to conduct a quick survey of the location, along with raymond. On her way there, and myself just at the network, it was decided *sigh* that the chef could not possibly fill up the 3 segments required for the show. I argued that it could, but I didn't win. The boss decided that it would be better to feature summer must-have shopping tips.
So shelly flew from cavite to ortigas in a span of four hours, juggling activities such as explaining to the chef why we can't conduct a live event at his place, sitting through traffic and getting the event requirements for the shopping segment. She wasn't able to go home and change her clothes. She insisted that it was okay and that she's used to that. Apparently her aging segment producer (Ako, haha) is not used to that alnighters anymore. Had she not been my researcher I wouldn't stick around to wait for her until she gets back.
Funny thing was, cum live show we aired only twice, as opposed to the usual 3 segments required. That got me thinking, maybe we could still feature the amazing chef after all.
But who are we to complain?

1. We could use a little more airtime you know. We've travelled for three frickin hours to get to this wonderful frickin beach and all you could give us was one measly, lousy airtime? Come on, how about a little appreciation from us in remote?
Tse.After slaving for more than an hour with my script I only get one time big time airtime? How about the effort of my researcher in coordinating and my technical guys having to go through shit for this?
At least we got to relax and this crazy producer just tried to enjoy the sand on her toes, despite the idiots she's had to deal with during the coverage in subic. (read: guys who think they frickin know better, whatta bunch of losers)

32nd Las Pinas Bamboo Organ Festival

Notes:
1. Thank God walang streetdancers na isang damakmak; cultural dancers lang consisting of less than ten people whom were very easy to control
2. Mader Eagle waltzed on the location by walking in his barong; he lives a block away from the church.
3. The Bamboo Organ and the church is a national treasure as it was built way way back in 1800s.

4. The last segment just gave me a very bad headache as the location grew pretty hot due to sunshine while we waitied to go on air. Very bad.

1. The day (what a great way to start the week, yay!) that teng reclaimed her name as the greatest (chariiing)
2. That was the peg of the segment was "Bagong Pasyalan for Kids"
3. Peppered with a subtheme that goes something like "children also suffer from stress pretty much like adults."
4. Elements apart from the venue for kids were child singers slash instant celebs as these little boogers right here earned their fame from a local singing contest
5. Do you think they were de-stressed by waking up at god knows when just to be in time for the 5:15am live airing and start of our morning show?

One of the biggest ironies of my job, gotta love em. Hehe

Notes:
1. Excited ang mga taga Candelaria, (Southern part of Manila, 2-hr drive pag madaling araw) first time kasi ng GMA-7 doon
2. Suzi Entrata was host alongside Eagle. Hindi kasi remote host si Mader Suzi kaya medyo special.
3. Candelaria is hella packing cold at 3:30 in the morning. The extreme lamig pierced right through me, huhuhu. We were able to find refuge at a nearby jollibee where they served brewed kape. Sadly upon going out the kape turned well... cold. Leche.
4. What got me through all this was talking to my hubby before going live, kilig sa lamigggg.

8th Halamanan Festival

1. Covering Festivals is such a breeze if shelly is my researcher
2. Everything went so packing smooth I didn't even break into a sweat, haha
3. Sure, a festival about plants is such a ho-hum thing to cover but learning how much people are so passionate about their plants (Bonsai chorva) is something. Who wouldve thought bonsai are so revered and are such a big deal to these folks?
4. Perhaps most of the people I was working with are wondering why this bitch of a SP is in such a jolly mood. She was all smiles the entire time. Trying to suppress her kilig, perhaps?

5. Para kayo'y matawa, eto na lang. Isang bloggable conversation during one of our long breaks before the live airing of the segment. Shelly, Regine, Kuya Toto the cameraman and Eagle were having a relaxed conversation about their biggest phobias while I was texting away. (kiligers)

Shelly: (in her ultra hyper tone, as expected) ay nako ako talaga takot ako sa ahas, yaaaak!
Regine: Oh my gaaaad ako naman I so hate spiders, kaya hindi ako makapanuod ng charlotte's web

1. Ang Tagaytay ay malamig; it is never wise to wear my trusty 3 inch platform havaianas dahil hahamugin ang talampakan ko. Siguro kaya sumakit ang tyan ko. I have no idea whats the connection, haha.
2. Kapag sinabi na ang shoot ay 5pm, expect na magsimula kayo ng shoot 4 hours later.

4. Guest host Alysa Alano is clueless as an interviewer. The only thing that made it worthwhile was because mali-mali sya mag-english, and the viewers like that. Maraming viewers= higher ratings. Ugh, Pinoys have this penchant of making fun of those people who can't speak English correctly kasi, tsk,tsk. What the hey. That's why Alyssa is so popular sa Youtube. Poor kid. She's so sweet though, and she's loving the instant fame.
5. Pressure mounted when my EP (executive producer, my boss) told me to produce a teaser plug to be aired on Saturday para tumaas ang rating at manood sa Monday airing (eeeeep, pressure?!?)
6. I'm not gonna waste my money watching that, tse.
